Experience in Graphic Design is Not the Same as                                           Experience in Web Page Design...       There are many desktop publishers who are attempting to do web page design using low end HTML page design programs. But (would be) customers must be aware that though these upstart web page companies can produce static (read only pages) that look very impressive, their pages tend to be prohibitively slow on the Internet. They base there page design on techniques borrowed from their desk top publishing experience, many times including larger images files. Though images should be used, your page should instead be created using the HTML programming which will optimize your pages for speed. Make sure that you start your project with a company that can offer you all the options you may need down the line. You would hate to develop your self into a corner.
